Bajaj Pulsar - "Definitely Male" ad. Oh God Why ?

Bajaj came up with the tagline (With the help of an Ad Agency) for its newly introduced bike Pulsar in 2001. The tagline was targeted at the youth in India and may be help them feel related to the feeling "Ladke nahi rohte"

This year Jan 2018, I saw the new ad of Bajaj Pulsar with the same tagline, the best part was that I saw it on the same day when the BSF female warriors were doing motorcycle stunts as part of the republic day parade.

Seriously how doesn't anyone see the problem here ? Why isn't the PR division of Bajaj having a nightmare over this ad ? Is it still 1918 ? where men and women are divided by social rules and perceptions ? Or is it that the Ad's motive is so subtle that we do not see it in the grey area of the argument but the white ? Why try so hard to associate it with one gender ?

If you have watched the movie Dhangal (A true story), you would see the life of a Wrestler who wants his Son to be a world class wrestler. Fate gives him no sons but daughters, he is disappointed at first but later decides to train his girls which later becomes success story as the girls do extremely well and make an entire nation proud. There is an abundance of success success stories of Women everyday, my point here is how many more is required for the thick skull-ed to understand that Men, Women, Trans are equals? Will people ever stop associating certain characters to certain genders ?

While most organizations around the world are trying their best to highlight how their workplace or designs or products do not discriminate between genders, tagging a bike and essentially, the rider like in the above ads as "definitely male" or "ingredients of a male" isn't this called sexism ???. Even more so when it is not uncommon to see women riding not just bikes, but also premium sports bikes.
It has been 17 years since the tag line came out first and you are telling me 17 years wasn't enough for them to understand or get a hint that it is wrong and misogynistic ?

For the development and progress of the human species we need all the help we can get from all people. Having such divisions or such perceptions or planting such subtle ideas in the masses will be always a hindrance for the greater good of humanity.

Kung Fu Panda 3 - The Alternative Meaning

After watching Ku Fu Panda 3 (KFP-3) many times. It reminded me of one other movie, which made me think of an alternative meaning to the movie.

Spoiler Alert-
In the movie KFP-3 Po goes back to his secret village where his father and the rest of the Panda population have survived. Po feels strange adapting to their life style and finally learns to roll with it. He then teaches his fellow citizens of the village who are fun-loving and clumsy, the art of  Kung Fu with basic daily activities(kind off) in order to defend their village from enemies. In the end when Po is in the spirit realm , the village relearns their ancient art of Chi (It is sort of energy, that makes the flower bloom and gives extra super powers) and helps Po secure victory over Kai (the enemy).

Interpretation:
Well for me I felt that Po was the lost soul who found purpose in life, which is - to help and protect others by teaching them. If you have watched KFP-3 you will notice that his fellow village brethren are distraught and have less or no basic skills . So Po helps the  pandas learn Kung Fu through daily activities.
Consider this, the village as an rehabilitation center and Po helped the "inmates" Pandas learn basic skills to make their life a little bit bright and easy. In the end they end up helping each other.

Other Movie:
Patch Adams - The true story of the Doctor.
The movie opens up where Patch Adams is in a rehabilitation center. As the movie progresses he helps the inmates a little, part by part. Later on does amazing things with his humor and dedication. Again to make their life a little better. Plus there are many other similarities at a higher abstract level which you can find out if you have watched both the movies.

Earth like planet ? Really ???

When they find out another earth like planet

Is it the space agencies or the media or your creepy neighbor with a telescope whoever Is coming out with such claims need to take some time off. We get it there is the Goldilocks zone where you happen to find a speck of rock/ gas ball revolving under Some star - xxx-999 something. Indeed a great discovery but we really need to draw a line. On calling every other planet as an "earth like" planet. Our closest earth - like planet or twin. Is about four light years away which we will not be able to visit with the technology that we have today. That does not mean you can claim all planets as earth like based on a few features you speculate that it would possess. It gets tiring after some time reading through the articles every couple of days. I used to find it in the News few times a month, now it is every other day! Please Stop, earlier people used to be interested now the Interest is dropping. Since the tag earth like planet is not a rarity anymore. One of the collateral problems is that this might trigger is the embedment of this thought that the abundance of earth like planets into our minds.

The next time you want to get up and go for an earth run or participate in earth hour or a march for climate change: That embedded thought of yours comes to its natural play without your knowing even. (It would be saying to you if you We’re listening to it that there are plenty of earth like planets why bother?) Do you know what people like me/general public tend to think when you say earth like?

We think there are going to be life there and animals and trees and habitat and what not! If we happen to go by your claims I really think we would have not less of any different Experience than the brave 8 /7 had in interstellar. So what point I am trying to put across here Is that please be patient with our claims, you are pushing the general public interest out of Space.
