Interpretation:
Not receiving enough attention \ care from his parents, he has become a loose cannon .
Trying to find peace or meaning for his life, he is unable to cope with the things around him.
He does not enjoy a good relation with his parents, they do not spend enough time with him. He neither has a good time at school. (Probably an outcast)
His patience is wearing thin and burning out like a cigarette. With no one to talk to or to vent out his frustrations, his thoughts have become unhinged and in the process he picks up a gun and opens fire on all the other kids who he does not seem to like.
