Interpretation:
The person is taking about his live-in partner,
When I look up to the sky, I see your eyes a funny kind of yellow.
This means that whenever the guy looks up to the sky in relief or for the beauty or is happy, immediately his live-in partner's eyes to yellow - which could mean jealousy or that the other person
is thinking hard how to make the guy's life miserable.
I rush home to bed I soak my head
I see your face underneath my pillow
I wake next morning, tired, still yawning
See your face come peeping through my window
He goes ahead to tell about how he comes early from work to be with his live-in partner , but the
other person would still be very skeptic about his whereabouts and activities. Always peering into his
eyes to find some wrong doing.

When I look in their direction now
When will this haunting stop?
Your face, it just won't leave me alone
He says, even though the other person is not home he still feels haunted by her image & her voice all over the house. He wants this character trait of the live-in person to stop.

This chorus talks about the person being a little schizophrenic
where he refers all the other people as matchstick men \ stick figures
but among those his live-in's partner's face is prominent.
So clearly he is sick of everyone but especially his live-in partner.
